Project Description

The CSE project named A Line Follower Robot won by CSE 6th students ABDUL and Waseem which the name suggests, is an automatically guided vehicle, which follows a visible line embedded in the ground or ceiling. Usually, the visual line is the path during which the road follower robot goes and it’ll be a black line on a white surface but the opposite way (white line on a black surface) is additionally possible. Certain advanced Line Follower Robots use the invisible magnetic flux as their paths. The Line Following Robot detects a black line on a white surface and moves forward following the line. If a black line is not detected, the Line Following Robot moves forward searching for a black line to follow. Once the Line Following Robot detects a black line, it will begin following the black line. Line follower Robots are commonly used for automation processes in industries, top military applications, and consumer applications. With additional features like obstacle avoidance and other security measures, line follower robots can be used in driverless cars. Line follower robots play an important role in the field of healthcare. It is also useful for home applications. The objectives of the Line Following Robot include: Moving forward searching for a black line on a white surface. Detect a black line on a white surface. Generate control commands to follow a detected black line.
